We Will Survive (COVID-19) parodies Gloria Gaynor’s famous hit song “I Will Survive” as a PSA for social distancing and an anthem for hope amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The idea was to use some much-needed levity as a PSA for social distancing and to create an anthem for hope. Terry asked for cameo contributions from leaders in the media, advertising and technology community and, as you can see, they rallied to the cause.
As the video was produced during Covid times, many people were still suffering in both health and economically during the crisis and we didn’t want their participation to be misconstrued. The entire media, advertising and technology world was deeply concerned, committed and rooting for a rapid recovery.
We asked others to do their part by staying at home to flatten the curve, treat employees and neighbors with kindness and, if possible, to please contribute to charitable funds supporting healthcare professionals, first responders and other essential workers. We were all in it together. And, yes, we believed we will survive.
